The STARC Systems allow us to perform renovations in occupied spaces in the hospital - keeping the staff, patients and visitors safe from contaminants. They also reduce construction noise, secure the site and easily monitor the air pressure. Not to mention they are easy to use and look great for our clients!

We are a small family owned construction company, who specializes in healthcare facility renovations. Almost everything we do is either inside of, or in close proximity to, patient care areas of a hospital. It is imperative that we protect patients from any contaminants, or hazards which may be present during the course of our work. It is equally important that we provide workplace safety for our employees. Starc Systems modular containment units has met, and in most cases exceeded our expectations. They have provided an efficient and cost effective product that we are proud of on our job sites. We undergo various levels of inspections by various organizations during the construction process. Most of the focus is directed at whether or not we are compliant with Life Safety measures within the healthcare facility. This is largely affected by the containment unit used to separate the work areas from the public, and patient population. Since we have been using the Starc Systems product we have passed every inspection, with no exceptions. I highly recommend their product. Excellent panels for ICRA. We have used them in three projects so far and it is very practical, saves time and reduce waste. Great to be used for projects with multiple phases. My recommendation is to provide the neck for connecting the HEPA filters in different diameters to match the flex ducts of these machines, otherwise you would need to make an adjustment to ir with plastic and tape, which is a little inconvenient.

For several years our facility has been trying to find a solution to temporary construction barriers that gives us a cleaner, professional appearance and also one that can meet the needs of our ICRA IV standards we have to comply with when working around patient care areas. With the STARC system, our needs were met. The bonus is that we have a clean, reusable modular system that saves time in installation and removal. Another benefit is we don't have messy drywall being brought into patient care areas and then discarded into a dumpster afterwards. My crew loves working with the system as well. They can roll it to the jobsite on custom carts and start assembling a finished product within minutes of arrival. Takedown is also the same; a few allen screws loosened and the panels slide down and can be carted away. No messy materials to worry about within a critical patient care area. This is a huge time saver and makes our Infection Prevention staff very happy. So far our experience with STARC customer service has been great. The first sizable order was shipped within 2-3 days and arrived in less than a week! Of course lead times may vary at this point, but the service was fast and courteous. STARC has also been genuinely interested in feedback of their system. They have done a good job engineering as there are multiple accessories that allow you to terminate into walls, flexible corner assemblies, negative air panels, doors with transoms, etc. I expect they will keep improving on their design and features. We look forward to many years of use out of our STARC system.

We researched temporary wall panel systems for our construction group at the Hospital and health System. The STARC system best met our needs. 40'x10'-5" temporary wall with sliding access door in hospital - built by two men in 45 minutes. Passed infection control on first inspection. Saved approximately $1,500 in man-hours and materials just on that install. Wonderful, professional product. A must for any hospital environment.
